2020 Weekly Exhibits

New this year at Fort Seward is our Weekly Exhibits.

Each Sunday, we will have a new opportunity for guests to learn about different parts of life around the Jamestown area in the time the Fort was active. From learning how to pack a wagon to get ready for a long journey, planting a 3 sisters garden, quilting, the History of the American Flag, and the life of a Enlisted Solider, we will have something for everyone to enjoy!

Watch our Facebook Page every Sunday for the weeks Exhibit and activities.

Historic Fort Seward

Historic Fort Seward was in operation from 1872 to 1877. The main job of the men that served there was to oversee the building of the railroad through Jamestown.

The site now contains a Veterans’ Memorial Wall, with personalized bricks for purchase, an interpretive center with many original historical items from the site, and a beautiful overlook of the City of Jamestown.

Click here for a Brick Order Form or email us with your order.
